We locate and validate its manifest. If the ZIP holds two packs, choose either one.
The pack is rebuilt with manifest.json at the correct root, ready for Minecraft.
An MCPack is a ZIP-compatible archive used to distribute a single Minecraft Bedrock Edition resource pack or behavior pack. It normally contains manifest.json at the archive root alongside textures, models, sounds, scripts, entities, or other pack folders.
Minecraft uses the manifest to identify the pack and decide how it should load. Correct archive structure matters: wrapper folders above the manifest can prevent an otherwise valid pack from importing.
Renaming can work only when the ZIP already has the exact structure Minecraft expects.
Finds manifest.json through nested wrapper folders without flattening pack content.
Your ZIP stays on your device from selection to download.
Checks the required pack identity, version, UUID, and module fields.
Convert on desktop, tablet, Android, iPhone, or iPad.
The manifest module type tells the converter what kind of Bedrock pack it has found. If the type is not reliable, it is labeled simply as a Minecraft Bedrock Pack.
Resource packs change how Minecraft looks and sounds while leaving gameplay logic alone.
Behavior packs define gameplay systems, custom entities, logic, and data-driven rules.
Each valid manifest is shown as a separate pack. Convert the resource pack and behavior pack individually instead of combining them into one invalid MCPack.
Both use archive compression, but structure and intended use are different.
| Feature | .zip | .mcpack |

| Primary purpose | General storage and downloads | One-tap Minecraft installation |

This tool corrects archive packaging. It does not convert Minecraft Java Edition assets into Bedrock Edition content.
Binary and text files are copied without rewriting their contents. Deeply nested folders, custom files, empty directories, timestamps, and permissions are preserved where the archive format supports them.
The converter removes only the folder path above the selected manifest. Everything inside the detected pack root keeps its relative location.

Yes. Valid Bedrock resource packs are detected from their manifest modules and packaged with textures, models, sounds, UI files, and other content preserved.
Yes. Behavior packs are supported, including entities, functions, recipes, loot tables, scripts, structures, and custom nested files.
Conversion happens locally and uploaded paths are checked for traversal attempts. File-count, archive-size, extracted-size, and individual-file limits also reduce the risk from malformed archives.
No. Your ZIP is read and rebuilt entirely by your browser. It is never sent to this website or stored on a server.
Minecraft Bedrock uses manifest.json to identify the pack, its version, UUID, modules, and dependencies. Without a valid manifest at the pack root, Minecraft cannot reliably import the MCPack.
Common causes include duplicate UUIDs, unsupported content, incorrect dependencies, malformed JSON, or a pack made for Java Edition. This tool validates required manifest fields and archive placement, but it cannot repair incompatible pack content.
Yes. Select a ZIP from Files or your downloads, convert it, then open the downloaded MCPack with Minecraft. Very large packs may work better on a computer with more memory.
Yes. Use the iOS file picker to select the ZIP, then download and share the resulting MCPack to Minecraft.
Yes. The converter works in current desktop browsers on Windows and produces an MCPack you can open with Minecraft Bedrock Edition.
It does not edit the files inside your pack. It preserves their binary contents and folder hierarchy while moving the detected pack root to the top of the new archive.
The converter lists each valid pack separately. You can download each one as its own MCPack; it will never merge unrelated manifests into a broken archive.
Private, structure-aware, and free. Your file never leaves your device.
